Sanyo Denki announced two new high performance DC fans, a counter-rotating fan design available in 60mm and 80mm sizes. They claim the largest airflow (2.26m^3/min for the 60mm, 4.53m^3/min for the 80mm) and highest static pressure (550Pa for the 60mm, 520Pa for the 80mm) capabilities in the industry. Not surprisingly, performance comes with a price – power consumption of 38.4W for the 60mm and 66W for the 80mm, and noise levels of 66dBA (60mm) and 71dBA(80mm).
